Why YOU need a good real estate agent to find your next home.
Hi this is Judy Hamilton with Homes by Judy.
Whether you are new to the area or know the community you want to move to – this is a big important decision for you. First, let your agent help you find out what your budget is. Get a good pre-qual letter and then share with your agent what you want to spend within those parameters.
Next, know what your lifestyle is as you choose the location. Are you a walker – a golfer, a shopper, love to eat out? Or do you want acreage, space between neighbors, quiet or a respite from traffic. Only you know the answer to that. Do you need good schools? Do you want to be close to good medical facilities?
Next, let’s talk about your neighborhood…..what do you want to see as you turn into your community? Do you want a small home – a large home – a one story home? How will you use the space inside – do you entertain a lot, or are you the quiet type. Do you have pets? Children? Do you need a large yard or are you tired of yardwork?
These questions are vitally important to answer and finding an agent that really cares about these answers will determine whether you are contented a year after you close or if you have regrets about your choices.
